Old Blood Chart

UPDATE (6/8): This is the blood chart up to the time I entered the hospital for my third round of induction chemotherapy. There is a separate page just for the third round.

For those curious about the details of the progression, I will try to copy over the numbers off of my chart – or scorecard as it’s called here – every day.

Definitions:
WBC = White blood count; ANC = Absolute Neutrophil Count (combination of mature/immature cells that fight infection); Hbg = Hemaglobin (red blood); PLT = Platelets

* We believe this is an anomaly.
** Presumably zero.
*** Ordinarily with that hemoglobin count, one does not get a transfusion. But the lab reported a low number (6.6) very early in the day and they decided to give me the transfusion even though the real number is what’s in the chart (9.3).
