The Past Few Days…

Sorry I have been neglecting the blog.  The past several days have been quite trying for all of us.  Seth developed yet another  complication that required prompt  medical attention.  I am pleased to report that he handled it well and is doing better today than he has in the past few days.  Seth knew that this stay in the hospital was going to be more difficult than the first but never did we anticipate in our wildest dreams that it would be like this.  The bottom line is that we are finally beginning to see some positive movement in Seth recovery.  The induction chemo was finished and we are now starting to see recovery in his blood numbers.  I am hoping to get his blood chart updated and in order in the next few days.  All of your calls, messages and emails are great.  Seth will be reading them soon and will have much to add to the blog.

With thanks from all the family for your continued support

  2. Karen/Grandma –

Thank you so much for your updates I don’t want to bother you directly by calling – and I really understand how difficult it is for you to find the time to type here (so no pressure!).

We are sending you ALL lots of love and strength and prayers.

  5. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the news! I, too, have been checking the blog (hello, obsessive refresh?). I am beyond happy to hear that Seth’s numbers are getting better, and that he has such a strong family around him when he needs it the most. That, in itself, must be helping him to keep fighting. We continue to pray, and send our very best, positive thoughts and love out to all of you.

  9. We have been worrying daily and are glad to hear about the good progress! From here things only can get better!!

Karen, we appreciate the effort you put into blogging and keeping us up to date. I know that Seth would rather do it himself, but we look forward to your “news and views” until he is ready to drop us pearls of wisdom himself.

  14. We are so happy to finally hear good news. Seth, you have been in our thoughts and prayers every day. During the “roller coaster” week, I was so worried, I forgot it was Thursday, and lit the Shabbat candles a day early! We are sure there is more good news to come.

Our continued love and support to both of you.
