Day 5-Following Surgery

It is so nice to be able to share some good news with you.  Seth was moved out of ICU tonight to a regular room.  He was exhausted from the move but very happy to be taking the next step in his recovery.  Details to follow.

As always, your continued prayers and best wishes are the best medicine!

  1. Seth ~ I just found out about your leukemia diagnosis, and I am both shocked and saddened to hear this awful news. My heart goes out to you and your family during this time. I shall remember you in my prayers, and look forward to hearing only good news on this blog…

ps – We’re in Philly all the time (hubby for business reasons, me because it’s one of my favorite cities), and when you feel up to it, I’d love to stop by the hospital and see you…

  2. Ted and Steve spontaneously break into chorus line on hearing news of Seths return to a regular room… (Ted is far better at this than Steve)

  3. Great news! Keep fighting and hang in there. This just shows how strong Seth truly is on all levels. And his amazing mom, asst, etc – brava to you! Your strength, caring and encouragement are carrying him through…
One day at a time… as archaic as it sounds – it’s the only way…
    Wishing you many blessings,

  4. Seth, honey, every fibre of my being is wishing you strength, and love – as you want.

Harald and I, and the girls (yes, Trudy’s okay for now), send you blessings and everything in our hearts to make this time pass.

And, coincedentally, I think this qualifies as a capital-D drama slide. One that we can all move past, and breathe easier.

    love love love,

p.s. anytime, I’m there – you know that, for sure.

  5. Great news, we are thrilled to hear it. Keep getting stronger.

  6. So happy to hear that you are no longer in the ICU. Our prayers, thoughts, smiles, etc are with you all.

  8. Yay! Great to hear about the move to friendlier quarters.

Hopefully the new digs have good cell reception and working wireless!!

  9. Wonderful news!
Hang in there and keep up the spirit.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with you every single day.
